Drone Survey in KT2

Everything we fly in KT2 sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

Our drone survey work in KT2 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Small jobs are welcome; there is no minimum project size.

We plan drone survey around the output you need rather than the shots that look impressive. Some KT2 streets simply have nowhere safe to launch, and we will say so. Clients in KT2 often have sites elsewhere in Kingston upon Thames, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Airspace over KT2 is checked on the day as well as at the planning stage. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any KT2 booking. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

KT2 fronts the tidal Thames, so a job here can mean launching from the bank, from a pier or from a vessel. We are set up and insured for all three, with PLA coordination handled as standard.

Thames Riverside Expertise

Because KT2 is adjacent to the River Thames, operations here may require specialist maritime knowledge. We coordinate with the Port of London Authority (PLA) and provide highly experienced river skippers when required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
