Aerial Photography in KT2

KT2 is inside our regular patch, so aerial photography there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

We take aerial photography bookings across KT2 most weeks of the year. Briefs range from a single set of stills through to full production support. If another supplier is already engaged, we can work alongside them.

We shoot aerial photography to be used, not to fill a gallery. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of KT2. Anything we can do elsewhere in Kingston upon Thames we can do in KT2.

Planning for KT2 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

We can supply method statements and risk assessments for your own site paperwork. We can deliver in stages where a project needs early material. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

Where the job in KT2 sits on or over the river, we plan it around tide and traffic and notify the PLA in advance. Our pilots are insured for over-water flight.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
