Drone Inspection in KT2
Whatever the site looks like in KT2, our drone inspection team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
UAS London covers the KT2 postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.
The value of drone inspection here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Operating in KT2 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. KT2 is one of the Kingston upon Thames districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.
Airspace over KT2 is checked on the day as well as at the planning stage. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. If conditions change on the day, the pilot's call is final.
Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any KT2 booking. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.
Part of KT2 fronts the Thames, and river work has its own rules. We coordinate with the PLA, work to tide windows, and can launch from a vessel where the shot needs it.
What's Included
Thames Riverside Expertise
Because KT2 is adjacent to the River Thames, operations here may require specialist maritime knowledge. We coordinate with the Port of London Authority (PLA) and provide highly experienced river skippers when required.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do we actually receive at the end?
That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
Can you work around a live site in KT2?
Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
Are you CAA approved?
Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
