Roof & Asset Condition Surveys in IG2

Professional roof & asset condition surveys in IG2, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.

Our roof & asset condition surveys work in IG2 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. Jobs come in from main contractors, subcontractors and the client side directly. Repeat visits to the same IG2 site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.

We shoot roof & asset condition surveys to be used, not to fill a gallery. London airspace is not uniform, and IG2 has its own constraints to work around. IG2 shares its airspace picture with the rest of Ilford, which we already know well.

Any IG2 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. We keep the separation distances the regulations require from anyone not under our control.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. We would rather explain a constraint up front than surprise you with it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you work around a live site in IG2?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
