Drone Mapping in IG2
IG2 is inside our regular operating area. Our drone mapping crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
Getting a crew into IG2 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. The mix runs from property and construction through to events and editorial. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.
A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of IG2. Sites across Ilford get the same crews and the same standards as IG2.
Any IG2 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Everything is captured at the highest quality the job can actually use. Neighbouring properties are considered before the flight path is set.
Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. The same pilot who plans the IG2 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you work around a live site in IG2?
Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
Do you retain copyright, or do we?
Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
