Drone Survey in IG2

A CAA-approved, £10M-insured crew for drone survey anywhere in IG2.

UAS London covers the IG2 postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. Typical jobs cover commercial premises, residential developments, industrial units and open sites. We will say plainly if a drone is the wrong tool for what you are trying to show.

Most IG2 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Tall structures around IG2 affect both signal and wind, and we plan for both. Ilford is a regular working area for us, and IG2 is part of it.

Ground risk in IG2 is assessed on its own terms, street by street. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. Every crew member knows the abort criteria before the first take-off.

Paperwork is ready before the booking is confirmed rather than chased afterwards. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. You get one point of contact from enquiry through to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you work around a live site in IG2?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

How long will you be on site in IG2?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.
