Roof & Asset Condition Surveys in EC2Y

Whatever the site looks like in EC2Y, our roof & asset condition surveys team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

EC2Y is part of the London area our roof & asset condition surveys crews cover as standard. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. Where you need stills and video, they come from one visit rather than two.

We plan roof & asset condition surveys around the output you need rather than the shots that look impressive. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, EC2Y included. Clients in EC2Y often have sites elsewhere in East Central London, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

The EC2Y operating plan is written before the crew is scheduled, not after. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. We fly the plan that was agreed, and flag it if the site has changed since.

Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any EC2Y booking. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. You will know who is turning up in EC2Y, and when, before the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
