The Orca Fisher is one of James Fisher & Sons' new-generation tankers, part of the company's 'Fleet of the Future' programme. UAS London captured her transiting the tidal River Thames — from the Canary Wharf reach in daylight to her berth alongside HMS Belfast in the heart of the City at dusk. Documenting a working commercial vessel on one of the UK's busiest waterways demands careful planning around tides, bridge clearances, and active river traffic. Flying under our specialist Thames permissions, we maintained safe standoff distances and used long-lens framing to capture the scale of the tanker against the Canary Wharf and City of London skylines in both daylight and low-light conditions.
