FPV Drone Filming in W1K

Our FPV drone filming crews work W1K and the districts around it throughout the year.

If your site falls in W1K, our FPV drone filming team can plan and fly it under existing CAA permissions. Sites vary from tight residential streets to large commercial and industrial plots. We can attend a pre-start meeting where the site requires one.

The right altitude for any W1K site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Local access, not airspace, is often the real constraint on work in W1K. W1K is one of the West London districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

The W1K operating plan is written before the crew is scheduled, not after. Longer lenses let us keep distance from people and property without losing detail. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. Larger data sets are delivered by secure transfer rather than physical media. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
