FPV Drone Filming in RM3

We cover RM3 for FPV drone filming, with the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances handled before the crew arrives.

Booking FPV drone filming in RM3 puts a CAA-approved crew on site with the permissions already in place. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. We can attend a pre-start meeting where the site requires one.

The right altitude for any RM3 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Built-up areas like RM3 carry ground-risk rules that open sites do not. We work the whole of Romford, so RM3 is rarely a standalone trip.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for RM3 ahead of the shoot date. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

We can supply method statements and risk assessments for your own site paperwork. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
