FPV Drone Filming in IG3

Professional FPV drone filming in IG3, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.

FPV drone filming in IG3 is something we are set up to do at short notice. Projects here run from quick property shoots to multi-day commercial productions. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

The value of FPV drone filming here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Traffic, pedestrians and overhead services in IG3 shape the plan as much as the regulations do. Our coverage of Ilford means a crew can reach IG3 without a long transit.

Before we fly in IG3 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. Nothing is flown until the paperwork and the brief agree with each other.

Where compliance evidence is needed for a planning or insurance file, we supply it. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. We would rather explain a constraint up front than surprise you with it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

How much notice do you need for a booking in IG3?

A few days is comfortable for most IG3 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
