Drone Mapping in SE2
From single visits to scheduled programmes, we deliver drone mapping throughout SE2.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
SE2 sits inside our core London coverage, and we fly there regularly. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.
Every drone mapping brief starts with what the images have to do. We have flown enough of London to know where SE2 gets complicated. We hold current airspace knowledge for South East London as a whole, SE2 included.
Any SE2 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. We fly the plan that was agreed, and flag it if the site has changed since.
Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in SE2. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. We flag anything that could delay the SE2 shoot as soon as we spot it.
Where the job in SE2 sits on or over the river, we plan it around tide and traffic and notify the PLA in advance. Our pilots are insured for over-water flight.
What's Included
Thames Riverside Expertise
Because SE2 is adjacent to the River Thames, operations here may require specialist maritime knowledge. We coordinate with the Port of London Authority (PLA) and provide highly experienced river skippers when required.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?
Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
Are you CAA approved?
Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
Can you fly drones in SE2?
Yes. We hold the necessary permissions to operate safely in SE2. Every operation includes a full risk assessment and coordination with local authorities or airspace controllers where required.
