Drone Mapping in EC3M

EC3M is inside our regular patch, so drone mapping there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

We run drone mapping jobs across EC3M throughout the year. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

What comes back from the EC3M flight should stand on its own without explanation. Built-up areas like EC3M carry ground-risk rules that open sites do not. We hold current airspace knowledge for East Central London as a whole, EC3M included.

The EC3M plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. If conditions change on the day, the pilot's call is final.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in EC3M. Tell us the EC3M postcode and what you need, and we will quote without obligation. We would rather explain a constraint up front than surprise you with it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a shoot in EC3M cost?

Price depends on the site, the flight time and the deliverables, so we quote per job rather than from a rate card. Send us the EC3M address and a short brief and we will come back with a fixed, obligation-free price.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Can you work around a live site in EC3M?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
