Drone Inspection in RM2

Everything we fly in RM2 sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

Our pilots work in RM2 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. The mix runs from property and construction through to events and editorial. Budgets and deadlines are easier to design around when we know them early.

What comes back from the RM2 flight should stand on its own without explanation. Traffic, pedestrians and overhead services in RM2 shape the plan as much as the regulations do. We work the whole of Romford, so RM2 is rarely a standalone trip.

Where the site in RM2 sits near controlled airspace or sensitive infrastructure, we arrange the clearances first. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. Where children or the general public are present, the plan accounts for them explicitly.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. Urgent RM2 jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in RM2?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
