Construction Progress Monitoring in W1B

Commercial construction progress monitoring in W1B, from a London operator with CAA approval, £10M cover and same-day raw delivery.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

We know the airspace picture over W1B before we quote on it. Sites vary from tight residential streets to large commercial and industrial plots. If the brief is still loose, we would rather talk it through than guess at it.

An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Local access, not airspace, is often the real constraint on work in W1B. We work the whole of West London, so W1B is rarely a standalone trip.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for W1B ahead of the shoot date. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

We are CAA approved and insured to £10M public liability on every job. You get the raw capture on the day and finished deliverables within a couple of days. Nothing about the W1B operation is subcontracted out without telling you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in W1B?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
