Construction Progress Monitoring in UB1
Whatever the site looks like in UB1, our construction progress monitoring team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
Getting a crew into UB1 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. Work in the district covers everything from marketing imagery to progress records and condition reports. Access constraints in UB1 are worth telling us about early, because they change the plan.
Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. Operating in UB1 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Southall is a regular working area for us, and UB1 is part of it.
Each UB1 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. Where children or the general public are present, the plan accounts for them explicitly.
UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. You get the raw capture on the day and finished deliverables within a couple of days. You will know who is turning up in UB1, and when, before the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?
Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?
Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
Do we need permission from the landowner or council?
Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
