Drone Mapping in UB1
We cover UB1 for drone mapping, with the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances handled before the crew arrives.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
Getting a crew into UB1 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. Quotes hold; we do not revise them once the job is agreed.
An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of UB1. Clients in UB1 often have sites elsewhere in Southall, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.
Before we fly in UB1 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. If conditions change on the day, the pilot's call is final.
Our authorisation covers the kind of built-up operation UB1 usually calls for. Give us the site details and we will confirm feasibility and cost before you commit. The same pilot who plans the UB1 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much notice do you need for a booking in UB1?
A few days is comfortable for most UB1 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
Are you CAA approved?
Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
