UB1 sits inside our core London coverage, and we fly there regularly. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. If the brief is still loose, we would rather talk it through than guess at it.
A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. We have flown enough of London to know where UB1 gets complicated. Clients in UB1 often have sites elsewhere in Southall, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.
Flight planning for UB1 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.
Where a landowner, managing agent or council needs sight of our paperwork, we provide it up front. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Can you work around a live site in UB1?
Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
How much notice do you need for a booking in UB1?
A few days is comfortable for most UB1 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
