Construction Drone Filming in EC4Y

EC4Y is inside our regular operating area. Our construction drone filming crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

UAS London covers the EC4Y postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

The point of construction drone filming is usually a decision someone else needs to make. Tall structures around EC4Y affect both signal and wind, and we plan for both. EC4Y sits in the East Central London postcode area, which our crews cover as one patch.

The EC4Y plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Everything is captured at the highest quality the job can actually use. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

We are happy to be added to a principal contractor's approved supplier list. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. You will know who is turning up in EC4Y, and when, before the day.

The river edge of EC4Y is a different operating problem to the streets behind it. Tides move the working surface, vessels move through the shot, and the Port of London Authority needs telling in advance. All three are routine parts of our planning here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
