Aerial Photography in RM1
Professional aerial photography in RM1, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
Getting a crew into RM1 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. The mix runs from property and construction through to events and editorial. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.
An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Operating in RM1 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. RM1 shares its airspace picture with the rest of Romford, which we already know well.
Planning for RM1 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. Mapping work is flown on RTK platforms rather than estimated from camera drones. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.
Everything we fly in RM1 sits inside the permissions we actually hold. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?
Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
Do we need permission from the landowner or council?
Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
How much notice do you need for a booking in RM1?
A few days is comfortable for most RM1 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
