Thames Aerial Imagery at Lambeth Reach
Specialist over-water thames aerial imagery at Lambeth Reach for marine engineering, logistics, and creative media.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
Operations at Lambeth Reach draw on both our aviation and our marine experience. Projects run from a two-hour tide window to a scheduled programme across a construction phase. We are used to working alongside vessel crews, ground units and marshals already on site.
Every flight at Lambeth Reach is planned around the tide table and the vessel schedule. High-zoom and thermal payloads cover structural inspection of piers, bridges and river walls. We keep the ground and deck footprint small so the operation stays clear of working crews.
We notify the PLA and maintain contact with London VTS throughout operations at Lambeth Reach. Crews are water-safety trained as well as CAA-licensed. We hold the separation the regulations require from anyone not under our control.
We retain the raw river capture in case you need to return to it later. Contact our marine desk with the Lambeth Reach brief and we will confirm the tide windows that work. We can point you at Thames projects where we have done something similar.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you insured for flying over water?
Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance written to cover over-water operations, and can provide the certificate along with our CAA authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before booking.
How much notice do you need for river work at Lambeth Reach?
More than for a land-based shoot, because PLA notification and the tide table both constrain the date. A week or two is comfortable; tell us the deadline and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
How do you manage wind and weather on the river?
The Thames corridor funnels wind and can be considerably rougher than the surrounding streets. We work to maritime forecasts and fly platforms rated to around 25 knots, so a marginal day does not automatically cost you the shoot.
