FPV Drone Filming in N81

N81 is inside our regular operating area. Our fpv drone filming crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.

We run fpv drone filming jobs across N81 throughout the year. We work for construction firms, property teams, marketing agencies and local businesses in the area. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

Most N81 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. The airspace picture over N81 is checked fresh for each booking. N81 is one of the North London districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Planning for N81 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. The same pilot who plans the N81 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
