FPV Drone Filming in EC4V

Whatever the site looks like in EC4V, our FPV drone filming team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

We take FPV drone filming bookings across EC4V most weeks of the year. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. Repeat visits to the same EC4V site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.

A drone reaches vantage points in EC4V that scaffolding and cherry pickers cannot justify. Operating in EC4V is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. We hold current airspace knowledge for East Central London as a whole, EC4V included.

Each EC4V job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Everything we fly in EC4V sits inside the permissions we actually hold. Tell us the EC4V postcode and what you need, and we will quote without obligation. Where a job runs over, we absorb it rather than reissue the invoice.

A good deal of EC4V looks onto the tideway, which is where most of our flying hours have been logged. We plan around the tide, keep a radio watch on river traffic, and notify the PLA before the crew arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in EC4V?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
