Drone Survey in UB2

UB2 is inside our regular patch, so drone survey there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Drone survey in UB2 is something we are set up to do at short notice. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. If another supplier is already engaged, we can work alongside them.

A drone reaches vantage points in UB2 that scaffolding and cherry pickers cannot justify. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of UB2. Anything we can do elsewhere in Southall we can do in UB2.

The UB2 operating plan is written before the crew is scheduled, not after. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Send the UB2 address and the brief, and we will come back with a fixed price. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
