Drone Survey in EC2N

EC2N is inside our regular patch, so drone survey there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Our drone survey work in EC2N spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. That includes new-build developments, refurbishment sites, commercial premises and public events. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Operating in EC2N is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. We work the whole of East Central London, so EC2N is rarely a standalone trip.

Every flight in EC2N starts with an airspace check and a written risk assessment. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.

Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any EC2N booking. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
