Drone Mapping in W4

Our drone mapping crews work W4 and the districts around it throughout the year.

We deliver drone mapping throughout W4 for commercial and private clients alike. The mix runs from property and construction through to events and editorial. Quotes hold; we do not revise them once the job is agreed.

Whether the W4 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. London airspace is not uniform, and W4 has its own constraints to work around. W4 is one of the West London districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Planning for W4 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. Mapping work is flown on RTK platforms rather than estimated from camera drones. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in W4 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any W4 booking. Repeat visits to W4 are delivered to a consistent spec so the set matches. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

Part of W4 fronts the Thames, and river work has its own rules. We coordinate with the PLA, work to tide windows, and can launch from a vessel where the shot needs it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Can you work around a live site in W4?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
