Drone Mapping in SW8

Tell us the SW8 site and the brief, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.

Booking drone mapping in SW8 puts a CAA-approved crew on site with the permissions already in place. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Small jobs are welcome; there is no minimum project size.

The point of drone mapping is usually a decision someone else needs to make. We have flown enough of London to know where SW8 gets complicated. Anything we can do elsewhere in South West London we can do in SW8.

Operations in SW8 are planned against current NOTAMs and airspace data rather than last month's. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. Urgent SW8 jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

SW8 takes in a stretch of the tidal Thames. Our team works the river constantly, so vessel movements, tide windows and PLA coordination are handled in-house.

Thames Riverside Expertise

Because SW8 is adjacent to the River Thames, operations here may require specialist maritime knowledge. We coordinate with the Port of London Authority (PLA) and provide highly experienced river skippers when required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
