Drone Mapping in SM6

Tell us the SM6 site and the brief, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.

UAS London covers the SM6 postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. That includes new-build developments, refurbishment sites, commercial premises and public events. We quote per job rather than from a rate card, because sites differ more than services do.

We plan drone mapping around the output you need rather than the shots that look impressive. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of SM6. SM6 is one of the Sutton districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

The SM6 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. We would rather stand down and rebook than fly a marginal operation.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. We can deliver in stages where a project needs early material. You will know who is turning up in SM6, and when, before the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
