Drone Mapping in EC1R

Everything we fly in EC1R sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

Our pilots work in EC1R often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. Some EC1R streets simply have nowhere safe to launch, and we will say so. EC1R shares its airspace picture with the rest of East Central London, which we already know well.

Where the site in EC1R sits near controlled airspace or sensitive infrastructure, we arrange the clearances first. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. Nothing is flown until the paperwork and the brief agree with each other.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. You will know who is turning up in EC1R, and when, before the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Can you work around a live site in EC1R?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
