Drone Filming in UB18

Our drone filming crews work UB18 and the districts around it throughout the year.

UB18 is part of the London area our drone filming crews cover as standard. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

The right altitude for any UB18 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. We have flown enough of London to know where UB18 gets complicated. We work the whole of Southall, so UB18 is rarely a standalone trip.

Each UB18 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in UB18 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in UB18. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. We would rather explain a constraint up front than surprise you with it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

How much notice do you need for a booking in UB18?

A few days is comfortable for most UB18 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
