Drone Filming in HA3

Whatever the site looks like in HA3, our drone filming team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

If your site falls in HA3, our drone filming team can plan and fly it under existing CAA permissions. We are as comfortable on a single house as on a multi-acre site. Access constraints in HA3 are worth telling us about early, because they change the plan.

What comes back from the HA3 flight should stand on its own without explanation. London airspace is not uniform, and HA3 has its own constraints to work around. Anything we can do elsewhere in Harrow we can do in HA3.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for HA3 ahead of the shoot date. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. Nothing about the HA3 operation is subcontracted out without telling you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

How long will you be on site in HA3?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
