Our pilots work in E16 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Sites vary from tight residential streets to large commercial and industrial plots. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.
Whether the E16 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Operating in E16 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. E16 shares its airspace picture with the rest of East London, which we already know well.
Flight planning for E16 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Longer lenses let us keep distance from people and property without losing detail. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

E16 borders the tidal Thames, which changes how a flight there has to be planned. Our crews include working river skippers, so over-water and riverside jobs are coordinated with the Port of London Authority as a matter of course.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?
Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
Are you CAA approved?
Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
