Drone Filming in DA8

Commercial drone filming in DA8, from a London operator with CAA approval, £10M cover and same-day raw delivery.

We know the airspace picture over DA8 before we quote on it. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. If the brief is still loose, we would rather talk it through than guess at it.

Good drone filming makes the next conversation shorter. Where DA8 sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. We work the whole of Dartford, so DA8 is rarely a standalone trip.

Every flight in DA8 starts with an airspace check and a written risk assessment. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

We are CAA approved and insured to £10M public liability on every job. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

Part of DA8 fronts the Thames, and river work has its own rules. We coordinate with the PLA, work to tide windows, and can launch from a vessel where the shot needs it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

How long will you be on site in DA8?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.
