Construction Site Mapping in W1K

Everything we fly in W1K sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

Booking construction site mapping in W1K puts a CAA-approved crew on site with the permissions already in place. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

Most W1K clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, W1K included. Anything we can do elsewhere in West London we can do in W1K.

The W1K plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. Every crew member knows the abort criteria before the first take-off.

We can supply method statements and risk assessments for your own site paperwork. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

How much notice do you need for a booking in W1K?

A few days is comfortable for most W1K sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
