Construction Site Mapping in UB2

UAS London provides construction site mapping across the UB2 postcode district, under CAA operational authorisation and £10M public liability cover.

Construction site mapping in UB2 is something we are set up to do at short notice. Typical jobs cover commercial premises, residential developments, industrial units and open sites. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. Tall structures around UB2 affect both signal and wind, and we plan for both. UB2 shares its airspace picture with the rest of Southall, which we already know well.

Before we fly in UB2 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. We keep the separation distances the regulations require from anyone not under our control.

Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. Edited video, stills, orthomosaics and inspection reports follow within 24 to 48 hours. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
