Construction Site Mapping in N2

A CAA-approved, £10M-insured crew for construction site mapping anywhere in N2.

If your site falls in N2, our construction site mapping team can plan and fly it under existing CAA permissions. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

The right altitude for any N2 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Local access, not airspace, is often the real constraint on work in N2. N2 sits in the North London postcode area, which our crews cover as one patch.

We look at obstacles, overflight and public access around the N2 site before quoting. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. We fly the plan that was agreed, and flag it if the site has changed since.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in N2. You get the raw capture on the day and finished deliverables within a couple of days. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

How much notice do you need for a booking in N2?

A few days is comfortable for most N2 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
