Construction Site Mapping in EC3M

Professional construction site mapping in EC3M, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.

Construction site mapping in EC3M is something we are set up to do at short notice. We are as comfortable on a single house as on a multi-acre site. Repeat visits to the same EC3M site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.

Whether the EC3M material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. London airspace is not uniform, and EC3M has its own constraints to work around. EC3M is one of the East Central London districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Before we fly in EC3M we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Insurance certificates and CAA documentation are issued on request ahead of any EC3M booking. Give us the site details and we will confirm feasibility and cost before you commit. The same pilot who plans the EC3M job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
