Construction Drone Filming in DA17

Tell us the DA17 site and the brief, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

We run construction drone filming jobs across DA17 throughout the year. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. Quotes hold; we do not revise them once the job is agreed.

The value of construction drone filming here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Operating in DA17 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Anything we can do elsewhere in Dartford we can do in DA17.

Planning for DA17 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Where compliance evidence is needed for a planning or insurance file, we supply it. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you work around a live site in DA17?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
