Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in UB5

UB5 is inside our regular patch, so civil engineering drone surveys there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

UB5 is a regular destination for our civil engineering drone surveys crews. We work for construction firms, property teams, marketing agencies and local businesses in the area. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

The point of civil engineering drone surveys is usually a decision someone else needs to make. Operating in UB5 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. UB5 is one of the Southall districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Ground risk in UB5 is assessed on its own terms, street by street. Thermal and high-zoom payloads are available where the inspection calls for them. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in UB5. Repeat visits to UB5 are delivered to a consistent spec so the set matches. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Can you work around a live site in UB5?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
