Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in DA14

Whatever the site looks like in DA14, our civil engineering drone surveys team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

Our civil engineering drone surveys work in DA14 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. Our clients here tend to be developers, contractors, architects and creative agencies. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

We shoot civil engineering drone surveys to be used, not to fill a gallery. London airspace is not uniform, and DA14 has its own constraints to work around. We hold current airspace knowledge for Dartford as a whole, DA14 included.

Before we fly in DA14 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. The aircraft is chosen after the brief is understood, not before. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Paperwork is ready before the booking is confirmed rather than chased afterwards. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. We keep the brief and the delivery in writing so expectations stay aligned.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
