Aerial Photography in DA14

We fly aerial photography throughout DA14, planned and permitted before the crew arrives on site.

Booking aerial photography in DA14 puts a CAA-approved crew on site with the permissions already in place. Projects here run from quick property shoots to multi-day commercial productions. We quote per job rather than from a rate card, because sites differ more than services do.

The right altitude for any DA14 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of DA14. Clients in DA14 often have sites elsewhere in Dartford, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Flight planning for DA14 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. Nothing is flown until the paperwork and the brief agree with each other.

UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you work around a live site in DA14?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
