Roof & Asset Condition Surveys in SM3

Professional roof & asset condition surveys in SM3, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.

SM3 sits inside our core London coverage, and we fly there regularly. Sites vary from tight residential streets to large commercial and industrial plots. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

Most SM3 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Where SM3 sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. We work the whole of Sutton, so SM3 is rarely a standalone trip.

Any SM3 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. Edited video, stills, orthomosaics and inspection reports follow within 24 to 48 hours. Where a job runs over, we absorb it rather than reissue the invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much notice do you need for a booking in SM3?

A few days is comfortable for most SM3 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

How long will you be on site in SM3?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
