Roof & Asset Condition Surveys in CR3

Professional roof & asset condition surveys in CR3, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.

CR3 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. Repeat visits to the same CR3 site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.

A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. Where CR3 sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. We work the whole of Croydon, so CR3 is rarely a standalone trip.

Any CR3 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Two-operator setups are available where the shot needs independent camera control. Where children or the general public are present, the plan accounts for them explicitly.

UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. We do not add charges after the fact for travel or parking in CR3.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you work around a live site in CR3?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
