Aerial Photography in W1D
Professional aerial photography in W1D, delivered by pilots who work London's restricted airspace every week.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
UAS London covers the W1D postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. We work for construction firms, property teams, marketing agencies and local businesses in the area. We can attend a pre-start meeting where the site requires one.
Whether the W1D material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Operating in W1D is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Clients in W1D often have sites elsewhere in West London, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.
We confirm what permissions the W1D site needs before anything is booked in. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. We keep the separation distances the regulations require from anyone not under our control.
Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. Where a second visit is our fault, it is at our cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
Do you retain copyright, or do we?
Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.
How long will you be on site in W1D?
Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.
