Aerial Photography in SM2

Book aerial photography in SM2 with a crew that handles the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances for you.

Getting a crew into SM2 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. Access constraints in SM2 are worth telling us about early, because they change the plan.

The right altitude for any SM2 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. We treat SM2 as its own operating environment rather than a dot on a London map. SM2 is grouped with the rest of Sutton on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

The SM2 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. We would rather stand down and rebook than fly a marginal operation.

We are happy to be added to a principal contractor's approved supplier list. Urgent SM2 jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. Where a job runs over, we absorb it rather than reissue the invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
