River Event Filming in Canning Town

UAS London covers Canning Town as part of our tidal Thames operating area. Projects run from a two-hour tide window to a scheduled programme across a construction phase. We quote per project, because a river job depends far more on access and tide than on the service name.

We survey the Canning Town bank and the water in advance to fix take-off, landing and contingency points. RTK platforms are available where the deliverable is a measurement rather than an image. We can work outside normal hours where river traffic or light demands it.

Notices to mariners are checked before any Canning Town flight, and radio watch is kept during it. Ground safety on the bank, meaning cordons, pedestrian routes and marshals, is planned alongside the flight. Anything we cannot legally do on the river, we say before you book rather than after.

We retain the raw river capture in case you need to return to it later. Talk to our skippers before you commit. They will tell you quickly whether the shot is achievable. We are straightforward about what the river will and will not allow.
