Yes, and it makes a noticeable difference to the result. Given the skipper's contact we coordinate the passage and the shot list directly, so the vessel is where the camera needs it rather than the other way round.

Are you insured for flying over water?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance written to cover over-water operations, and can provide the certificate along with our CAA authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before booking.

Do you need Port of London Authority approval to fly at Bugsby's Reach?

Any professional drone operation on the tidal Thames, including Bugsby's Reach, requires notification to and coordination with the PLA and London VTS. UAS London manages those clearances as part of the service.
