Thermal Drone Inspection in WD6

Tell us the WD6 site and the brief, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.

WD6 sits inside our core London coverage, and we fly there regularly. Projects here run from quick property shoots to multi-day commercial productions. Small jobs are welcome; there is no minimum project size.

Whether the WD6 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Operating in WD6 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Because WD6 falls under Watford, we can usually combine it with nearby districts in one visit.

The WD6 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Thermal and high-zoom payloads are available where the inspection calls for them. If the airspace makes the job impossible, you will hear that at the enquiry stage.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in WD6?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

How much notice do you need for a booking in WD6?

A few days is comfortable for most WD6 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
