Thermal Drone Inspection in TW8

TW8 is inside our regular operating area. Our thermal drone inspection crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.

TW8 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Most TW8 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Every London district has its own mix of obstacles, and TW8 is no exception. Sites across Twickenham get the same crews and the same standards as TW8.

The TW8 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Edited video, stills, orthomosaics and inspection reports follow within 24 to 48 hours. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

TW8 fronts the tidal Thames, so a job here can mean launching from the bank, from a pier or from a vessel. We are set up and insured for all three, with PLA coordination handled as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.
