Thermal Drone Inspection in SM7
SM7 is inside our regular operating area. Our thermal drone inspection crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.
SM7 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. Briefs range from a single set of stills through to full production support. Budgets and deadlines are easier to design around when we know them early.
A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. Built-up areas like SM7 carry ground-risk rules that open sites do not. Sutton is a regular working area for us, and SM7 is part of it.
Flight planning for SM7 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. Neighbouring properties are considered before the flight path is set.
Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. We flag anything that could delay the SM7 shoot as soon as we spot it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?
Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
Can you fly drones in SM7?
Yes. We hold the necessary permissions to operate safely in SM7. Every operation includes a full risk assessment and coordination with local authorities or airspace controllers where required.
